About Esther 2

From an early age, Esther Buerki lost herself in the worlds of books; stories became her home, and language her key to the world. What she read sparked in her the desire to create her own stories and touch the hearts of others.

At the age of 11, she began playing the violin and has been active in orchestras ever since. Later, she discovered swimming – late, but with great passion. Music and movement became the cornerstones that continue to carry her through life.

Her journey has led her through many worlds – from journalist to author, from communicator to storyteller, from poet to coach.

As an editor, she worked for Swiss newspapers and magazines such as the Neue Zürcher Zeitung, Aargauer Zeitung, Landbote, and Glückspost, where she learned to observe closely and distill what truly matters.

She later moved into corporate communications at Credit Suisse, Implenia, Axa, and Zühlke, combining journalistic precision with a holistic perspective, always driven by a desire to reach people authentically.

With her children’s books “Leonard and Loulou,” “Leonard and Lea,” and “Loulou & Loupi,” published in three languages, Esther opened doors to the world of emotions for both young and adult readers. Her first book even received support from Kevin Harrington (Shark Tank) and was published by Morgan James K!DS in New York.

In her autobiographical work “Living Without Fear” she shares her experiences with depression, anxiety, and feelings of not being good enough – and the path she took to overcome them. It is a courageous book, blending personal story with practical self-help tools, published in both German and English, and brought to life each week through her ongoing podcast “Living Without Fear.”

Today, Esther works as a coach, guiding people on their own journeys toward clarity, self-confidence, and a life with less fear. With empathy, heart, and intuition, she creates spaces where people can reconnect with themselves and consciously shape their lives.

Esther studied French, English, and German at the University of Zurich and also speaks Italian. She moves effortlessly between languages and cultures and embodies the openness and complexity that have always defined her. Many journeys with her two sons to Egypt and India are an essential part of this chapter of her life.

Beyond words, it is also through the camera, microphone, and moving images that she expresses her love for detail. She captures what others often overlook – moments of beauty and stillness.

Today, Esther unites all her facets: the clarity of the journalist, the playfulness of the storyteller, the vulnerability of the poet, and the sensitivity of a woman who has learned to live her life self-determined.
